You know on a server, you're playing with that annoying guy who has noteblocks going off like mad, or a huge redstone powerhouse going on, and all you hear is BEEP BOOP BEEP, and noteblocks going off? Well sometimes when I'm feeling clever, I'm that guy. I make elaborate fireworks launchers, and they always make a ton of noise. So I was thinking there should be a soundproof block. This would be my design, and for lack of a better name I call it "Sounder".
I like this idea. This could make redstone traps perhaps a little more complex. Perhaps the recipe wouldn't be so expensive; building a whole room out of the stuff could take too long.
I would love me some soundproofing blocks though not with obsidian. Wool seems like a fitting soundproofing, so normal wool blocks should just provide that w/o any additional crafting.

That's an interesting opinion (I guess). Wool is thin and stringy, so personally I don't agree!

Old Recipe
New Based On Suggestion:
I renamed it Soundless.
This block would completely muffle sound. You could use it to stop people from hearing a TNT detonation, or just have a quiet sanctuary.
Thoughts anyone?
I could go either way on this.
Thanks for commenting. I see your point.

Replace obsidian with wool or something, though, since it would seem like wool would muffle things.

I was going to say the string should be replaced with wool. Maybe just make it out of nine wool?
Sure, that makes sense. I'll update the recipe.
