i've been thinking about this for a wile, and theres just been empty furnaces in villages. I mean who wants a empty furnace??? Please only post if you have good comments.
I don't see a real point for this as coal is fairly easy to get, and would just be there. please tell me if i've missed something, but as for now, No support.

The furnaces in villages are always empty so i thought it might be kinda cool
I think it'd be kinda nice to find a small surprise in a furnace at the villages... Maybe to expand on the idea... Adding an actual anvil to the village forge itself? Damaged of course, after all, those villagers have to have done something with it.

In order for it to be balanced, taking in consideration blacksmiths already have loot chests, it would have to be few. Say furnaces would have 1-10 piece of coal in them and 1-5 iron or 1-3 gold. Feel free to take these ideas to your original post.

Ah great, another "no point in it" critics. That is a stupid reason to hate because EVERYTHING has a point. Maybe aesthetic maybe for the "feel", doesn't have to be game changing. I'm not saying you have to like it, just don't use that annoying reason.

I didn't hate it, I guess I should have been more open. But for a aesthetic feel, wouldn't it be more aesthetic to have the furnace fire on?
This just doesn't seem very useful, as coal is already so easy to find. Now, it might be cool if coal was found in the chests in villages, instead of the furnaces.

It did seem like you hated it the way you worded it, but oh well. Maybe when the village first comes into generation, the iron or gold would be in ore form, and it would smelt it when the world generates.

Like I said before, it would be more of an aesthetic feel. And I thought coal already spawned in furnaces?

To be honest, posting it there is completely optional. Almost no suggestion is small enough to be require to post it there.
