It would be pretty good if you could place the bucket like a cauldron and it would fill up overtime in the rain.
Would be effective if you live really far away from a water source.
Honestly this should just replace cauldrons entirely.
The one problem I find with this suggestion is how would you place a full bucket without spilling its contents all over the floor?
I think it should work like this:
1- Place empty bucket on floor
2- Fill a second bucket with the desired liquid
3- Right-click the Bucket block with the filled bucket to transfer the liquids.
Also if you break the bucket block when it has something in it it should either A- place the fluid in the bucket's former space or B- drop a filled bucket as the dropped item.
