I have an idea with how to make the monsters so you couldnt make something with 1 health that drops diamonds, redstone, and obsidan. What it would be like is there is a ability points system so you start with 10 points
Points: 10
Hp: 2
Drops: Dirt
Now if i make it drop apples this happens
Points: 5
Hp: 2
Drops: Apples
Now if i add hp i get points
Points: 6
Hp: 5
Drops: Apples
Same if i take away hp, however at only one hp, you have a max of 3 points.
I believe a point system was suggested earlier in the thread, and personally, on matters of creativity, I don't like to be limited. I'm fairly certain that it was decided upon that you didnt have to use any creature ever made. EVER. It would be your choice what you use and don't use.

also for the mob creation menu that is being made (unless its finished) I dont recall there ever being anything in the bottom left of the screen. why not add the base models of things there? one square with a humanoid shape, (2 arms, 2 legs) creeperoid shape, (4 legs/feet, no arms) arachnid, avian or aquatic.
the last two could be pretty tricky. for avians you wouldnt be required to have wings (ex: Ghasts) but you could have a certain amount of wings. there would have to be a maximum amount of wings a mob could have though. I'm thinking 6. (mobs can only have an even number of wings. 0,2,4,6 etc) Same thing with aquatic mobs, only instead of wings, fins.
there could be a tail option, (for both avian and aquatic) and a slider that can determin how long/large the mobs neck will be. (for creating serpent like mobs)
or you could just have sliders that let you make the shape of a mob. if you dont want a certain part, there could be a box that when you click it it removes the part from view. (all the pixels on the part become 100% transparent.)

hope this gets added to the game :biggrin.gif:
Even if we did hav custom mobs, this sounds lik the best way to do it, other than 2 things. The slider for the sounds nigh impossible to code. It'd probably take a week just to code that. I may be exaggerating, and it might not be hard to code, but it definitely sounds like it imo. Also, wings are fine having an even number, but not fins. What about dorsal fins? Ever think of dorsal fins? Or sharks, with 7 fins. 7! 7!
Ya, I'd create a shark with a mob creator first if it were possible. Probably with only 1 fin tho. XD

oh right fins. I always forget that fins can be pretty much any number... Still, there should be a limit to how much you can add :tongue.gif:
As the OP, I hereby welcome any coder(s) who wishes to commence this project!
As if that were necessary
I am not a coder, so I will -never- make it myself.

That's kinda lazy....
VERY lazy
(no offense)
Its not being lazy if you lack the skills to do so. He is not a coder, so he cant code the mob maker. He could learn how to code, but that can take years for it to be finished then. I know a bit about codes, but not enough to do a project of this size. (and keep it up to date with the updates) If i knew more, I definatly would.
