Enchantments that should to be added in Minecraft Severity of Enchantment depends on level of enchantment
Sword:
Venom – Poisons the victim (Cave spider poison)
Wound – Slows the victim down (Potion of slowness)
Intimidate – Weakens the victim (Potion of weakness)
Confusion - Makes the victim attack its allies and adds Nausea (Switches nametags and skins around in PVP)
Adrenaline- Increases chance of Critical Hits
Static – Chance to paralyze the victim, when the paralysis wears off slowness will replace it for 30 Seconds (Temporary)
Rusty – Sword does less damage but has a chance of adding a wither affect to the victim (Iron Sword exclusive, cannot mix with Sharpness)
Leech – Restores users health if battling living mobs (Pigs, Cows, Chickens, Creepers, Spiders, Cave Spiders and Sheep)
Training – More EXP from killing mobs
Pickaxe:
Thermal – All ores mined will be in refined form (Gold and Iron)
Observation – More EXP from mining ores
All tools (Except Hoe and Sword)
Crush – If mining silverfish blocks, the silverfish die before emerging (Cannot mix with Silk Touch)
All tools (Including hoe and Sword)
Length – Able to mine blocks/Kill things further away
Vacuum –Items on the ground move towards you (Like EXP orbs)
Dual Purpose (Enchantment [VERY RARE]) – The tool doubles as a sword and can have sword enchantments

I like a lot of these however. Ender is WAY to overpowered and a lot of the hoe enchantments would be hard to code. But I truly think minecraft needs new enchantments.

I don't like some of these because some would be better on potions. Like the poison one. Poison can be really devastating in just a small amount of time and if you added that to a sword it'd be a little bit OP.

I like these ideas
However I think vacuum should be for Armour.
Cuz' it's weird if an item float to u with a sword and suddenly stops if u change a weapon.
Also, a suggestion could be Tank.
Possibly for Chestplate or maybe all Armour.
The idea is to reduce Knockback effect.
There's 4 tiers yeah.
This also helps from pvp punch bow or knockback sword.

This would be awesome.

Pretty much nerfed magic barrier and night vision.
Chest plate:
Gut – Hunger bar decreases slower
Not very useful when you have 4 stacks of potatoes, but it would be awesome in adventure maps.
Immunity – Poison lasts for less time and does less damage
Magic barrier nerfed, nuff said.
Boots:
Hustle – Increased movement speed
Speed would be awesome.
Springs – Increased jump height
And jumping high.
Webbed – Increased movement speed in water
Very helpful with water.
Hike – The player automatically jumps up blocks (Like in pocket edition)
Some good and bad enchantments here.
Support for green enchantments.
I really like the hoe enchantments because the hoe really needs enchantments but like others said the sword is using enchantments that are the exact same as potions but other than that awesome idea!

Some others aren't even Minecraft-y. Actually, most aren't even enchants - some are more like powers or abilities.
If you could tweak everything, I will offer support, but until then, no support.
