many players played minecraft and have lots of equipment and weapons and they're excelent players, and nothing in the overworld scares them even the night monsters. the fearless monsters are rare find in their biomes that gives the player real feeling of adventures and more to explore. of course they have high health high damage and maybe high speed (not for all). provoking one of them will show a health bar that will disappear when they're killed or out of range. so my suggestion is to make reality scary mobs, that the player will be careful in trespassing it.
here're some suggested mobs (if a mob suggested in comments that i really liked i'll add his idea here) :
Bear: found in forests not so not too fast, but powerful. once the player gets near it it will warn him.
Yeti :found on arctic biomes, fast and gets provoked easily, tall and has white fur.
Elephant: found on plains of groups that are made of about 10 elephants, they're kind of pieceful. but they're the most dangerous ones, they are special in their large bodies and ears, also tamable (maybe)
Jaguar: in jungles, has a high speed and long jumps and low fall damage, sneaky and could attack even if not provoked.
The poll is a troll fest, it's "Genghis Khan", the spelling inaccuracies hurt my eyes, and the lack of proper grammar is appalling.

I agree that our current mobs aren't very.....difficult, unless swarmed by them. Sure, a surprise spider jumping from a roof and attempting to devour your head is scary, a creeper appearing out of nowhere to ambush you while typing isn't fun, and accidentally scaring an enderman then not realizing it is the pits, but I don't think that Bears, Elephants, "Jaguar"s and anything else will make it more fun. People will just develop strategies for killing them as easily as the rest of the mobs we already have.
The only think I like here is the yeti. I want a snow-mob, a yeti would be kinda cool.
Add rare mini bosses? (I assume about as rare as spider jockeys) Snipe them. Still doesn't buff up the difficulty. And what if you were attacked by one on your first night? It's impossible to detect if it's the first night or not really, due to SSP and SMP being merged. For some people they might be a thousand hours in, on, I don't know, the 9001th night, and someone just joined and has to deal with first night.

i can't understand your point exactly, but i think you started to answer the question that i didn't ask yet which is "the fearless mobs will not spawn on the first night"
at first, these monsters doesn't spawn at night, yes u could snipe them but they will attack you, the elephants have enough health to catch you, the jaguars have enough speed to catch you, the yeti and the bear may have no chance to survive, but bears could spawn with small caves to hide in, and as i said they have a warn and any way the player could change his way a little to avoid provoking them.

dress a full set of iron armor (i have more than 30 iron blocks, so it wan't be expensive) and it maybe enchanted (it will be powerful even if not) and no monster weal make harm of you (a lil bit).

Even if you have full diamond armor, and each piece is enchanted to level 50, and you have a diamond
sword with sharpness IV, Knockback II, Fire aspect II, even the weakest monsters will STILL attack
you witohut a second thought. They won't run away. They don't FEAR you.
