This could be just like a NPC village but with no villagers. It would also include mine cart rails leading down to mines and mine carts. Also abandoned houses with ores in them. These villages could be connected to abandoned mineshafts underground.
Not being rude but what would you rather have in the houses. when I said ores in the house I meant in chests not like the walls and floor.
I think he knew you meant that. The problem is it makes it a tad easier to get ores. Find an abandoned mining village and bam, you're bound to find some iron, some coal, etc etc (unless someone else has sacked the place). However, I like the idea of an empty village that leads to a mineshaft, so I support THAT idea. Just make it that along with the town being abandoned, anything of value is stripped away as well (Like it'd been looted already, or that when the people left they took all the valuable things)

Thanks for the support. I do agree it would make it easier to find ores. It just seemed like a good idea at first.
