Do you ever wish you had a way to express yourself through Minecraft? I know I have. Especially this, in which you would be enabled to customize the bed you sleep on. In single player it might not be as huge of a deal but if you weigh in what it would do for multiplayer, it could make players a lot happier. Some of these up sides include defining if a bed belongs to a certain player. It would be useful to define a players bed so they don't continually sleep in another players bed. This is a sort of realism that doesn't necessarily interfere with the flow, or gameplay of Minecraft. Another up side would be it would allow you to express yourself to other players. I do realize you CAN express you originality through other things such as your creations, skins, etc. It would just be another way to make your multiplayer or even your single player home look better than ever. Creating your sheets is as simple as dying leather armor. All you have to do is gather your specified color (or dye) and find the nearest crafting table. Next you would need to line the perimeter of the slots with wool and then fill the middle with the dye that you have collected.
I think it would probably be better just to be able to place a dye and a bed in the crafting square. Gathering all that leather seems a little much for something as simple as dying a bed.

The only reason I chose to have it that way would be to be able to have changeable sheets. I personally don't think putting the bed in the crafting with the dye is because a bed shouldn't be changed, but just the sheets. Your look on the more conservative side, which half me understands and agrees with.

Wow I missed that completely. I'm glad that was pointed out.
