Today i present to you: The Redstone Furnace!
The redstone furnace is really usefull! I'll explain how it works.
Like normal, you put the thing that you want to melt/cook in the top, but
under it you'll see a red object. This is a sign that it has no power. Connect
the furnace with redstone and a power source like a lever. Activate the redstone
and then look into your redstone furnace. The thing has been melted, and the red
sign will now be green, meaning that it is on/active.
So when the furnace is active you can put items to melt/cook in it, and it will instantly melt/cook
them. HOWEVER doing this will cost a TINY bit of xp. about half a level. AND just like an anvil,
it will slowly break. But this takes two times as long to happen.
I don't support, but I accidently clicked the green arrow. Oh well.
It's way too simple to make. Just a regular furnace with one redstone? Even if it costs a little experience, that doesn't really matter at the beginning of the game, when you don't have an enchanting table yet. And if you have a grinder......

SUPPORT? NO SUPPORT?
No support. This has also been suggested before.
And i wouldn't call it TOO OP because it does cost xp and can break...
I would love it if you checked out my "about me" page on my profile and looked at my threads
I'm always happy to see new posters.
It is incredibly easy to make, and I could just set it up next to my enderman grinder.

Seems you didn't do your research very well...
You can already do this with a BUD flip-flop
