(As you may have noticed I'm fairly stubborn but I'm not against editing my post if it's against the rules. It's not a wishlist now I'm putting a suggestion as to how to make mobs harder. I have not put any mobs in here therefore I am not *listing* anything. Thanks (Yes moderator I put this at the top just for you to see as I have no real way of contacting you when you lock my page . Now let's all have intelligent conversations/opinions .)
AI: Monsters actually coming after you when you are inside your home, but this would require new mobs or zombies to be able to break down everything (which is overpowered). Instead I am suggesting the idea of new monsters who can do different things/ use different abilities so that it's not always the same old grind. Also maybe more monsters with very varying amounts of life so that they don't fall over dead as soon as I enchant my sword (sometimes I wonder if I could kill a skeleton by looking at it wrong). Maybe some tougher/more advanced archery with the skeletons. Also the zombies maybe coming in hordes of 50 instead of 10 etc. Feel free to post your ideas for some ways to make tougher/better mobs !(THIS STUFF SHOULD BE VERY ADJUSTABLE DEPENDING ON YOUR DIFFICULTY SETTING)
Yes, one of those who hated this idea now supports.
Agreed. I think zombies should spawn in larger packs and work with "group AI". This would involve having each group of zombies have one AI to rule them all, one AI to find them. One AI to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. (that was fun)
Actually, those points work.
Feel free to add this to the OP without giving me credit. I hope you like these points:
One AI to rule them all: The entire pack of zombies follows one AI which determines who should move where in order to besiege the player. For example, if the player is in a small aboveground cottage the AI for the group would say where to go to each of them, and the zombie individual AI would figure out simply how to get to the assigned position.
One AI to find them: The AI would be formed before the zombies. The AI would search for nearby zombies. This would eliminate the quick lag spike caused by hoards spawning.
One AI to bring them all: The AI would then bring all the zombies to a certain place, and assemble them for the oncoming siege.
And in the darkness bind them: The AI would make sure all the zombies are in the right places and adjust the group dynamic according to terrain. The AI would also make sure that the zombies are close by and not left behind, and it will sometimes let a zombie go if it is stuck far away.
Also, don't call it AI. People hated those and will think its the same thing. Change it to something completely new.

I have discovered a truly remarkable proof of this, which this margin is too small to contain.

I like your style XD but, I think zombie raids would have to be an infrequent occurrence to add to the shock and awe (plus balance so it's not like monster apocalypse every night). Also I don't have an idea for the title .
i agree that there could be some new ai code however not in the way you are suggesting it. i like how minecraft zombies dont hoard because it makes them less generic in a way.

Notes:None as I don't feel they're need now .
