Pretty much what it says up there: A working camera, and paintings too.
How it would work: Instead of having the paintings we have now, we make "Empty Paintings" and draw in them with some sort of drawing tool(a pencil, brush or whatnot), at which point it becomes a "Painting". Only the person who made the painting can edit it, so no griefing on already placed paintings. Maps can also be changed into "Paintings" and be edited, thus editable maps.
Cameras would be placable blocks that face away from the player doing the placing, so he knows what the camera will see. They would have a GUI with, say, 10 input and 10 output slots. When a redstone pulse is recieved, "Empty Paintings" would be pulled from the input slot, turned into "Paintings" with the view the camera has, and put in the output slots. Presumably the new allocators coming in the redstone update could pull paintings out and empty paintings in, thus making an automated camera.
I have no ideas as to crafting recipes, so feel free to suggest.
If your thread goes 3 hours with no replies or upvotes, chances are, your idea is not interesting enough for anyone to even respond to. That's not always the case, but can be. Otherwise, you got unlucky and your thread was forced down by replies in the other ones.
I would love to turn images/screenshots into paintings, big time. The camera has no reason to exist, as F2 does the job just fine, and F1 helps in ridding the HUD. Though everyone would love the drawing part, the programming needed to pull it off could be too much and most likely not worth it in the end - this is where texture packs or mods come in. Support for importing of images to paintings, and no support to everything else.
I'm simply responding to not respond. As the user said above people probably aren't interested. There is a mod for this exact thing, go find it and install. Enjoy.

The Unofficial Suggestion Guide - Everything you need to know to not make goofy mistakes in a suggestion! Honestly though, you should really go there.

There isn't one, at least not an exact one.
