Instead of using many Redstone Repeaters for Redstone Projects. There should be a Redstone Repeater Tick Counter. Each Repeater uses 4 Ticks on Maximum which would take many on some projects like mob grinders or xp farms to suffocate them for a 1 punch hit kill.
This Redstone Counter is crafted by 4 redstone repeaters and 4 gold ingot and a note block. You put the note block in the middle of the crafting table then put each gold ingot in a corner. Then the rest with redstone repeater.
You can right click it and a box would show up. You'll put any ore in a box on the left like redstone, gold, iron, diamonds, emeralds. (Just Like Beacons)
Then you'll type in the number of ticks you want it to count before continuing on the redstone wiring. Highest ticks would be 200 Ticks that can be added. (Starts at 0 ticks) Each ore will add ticks to it depending on how much or what kind of ore is it. If it is less then you can't go higher than what you used for it.
-----------Ores Count-------------
Redstone- Adds 4 Ticks Each=takes 50 redstone for a 200 tick
-----------
Iron Ingot- Adds 8 Ticks Each
-----------
Gold Ingot- Adds 10 Ticks Each
-----------
Emerald- Adds 25 Ticks Each
-----------
Diamond- Adds 50 Ticks Each
-----------
This would be great for adventure maps that uses redstone timers with a lot of repeaters. Those repeaters can just be a single block.
I'm sorry, but the colors hurt my eyes and sandwich on rye. As for the OP, while the block could be useful I'm not sure if it is ideal for the stuff you mentioned.

The tick numbers given give me an icky feeling. Since Minecraft uses multiples of 4, 10,25, and 50 don't fit.
But it's an all right idea, though I'm not sure I'd waste my gold on that, I'd just use more than one repeater.
50% support.
