Minecraft is fun for many. Problem is if you want a decent story line then you will have to download a map. This takes time and it is often stressful trying to find one!!! I have a conclusion: Story mode! So minecrafters can enjoy playing a map without the stress of finding one. It would be like the Xbox's minecraft tutorial world. Ready made maps! The maps could be anything as long as it keeps to the idea of minecraft.
And if you are new and don't know how to download maps you have ready made ones!

Maybe less a Story mode, and more a map repository? With searchable tags or something. Then you can find maps of the type you want?
Perhaps the map contest might work if it then saved it onto the map repository. That way if friends ask you to get a map then you have a nice interface to look into and use tags. The contest should be about every month.

Single Player > Shows maps if player made any. When they first begin they get given preloaded maps. They will have the maps as long as they do not delete them.
Update > Should update preloaded.
Maybe a forum of all the old preload maps that they could then download.

But what would you want to put in it?
