Here is a few changes I thought of:
1. Bringing back the old cobble and gravel look.
2. The mobs on the Wiki that were not used: Red dragon, fish, bird.
The red dragon could a rare mob in the nether, the fish a common mob in water, the bird a common mob around trees.
3. Make squids less derpy.
4. Make the 1.5 redstone update BIG! Make redstone possible to place on the side of blocks, and being able to
dye redstone so that two color redstone won't cross their path. (Ex. redstone dust won't connect with bluestone dust.) Make more pistons and redstone powered blocks.
5. Add more blocks and mobs, as the players are tired of seeing the same blocks and mobs all the time.
Alot of players from alpha and early beta will understand some of these possible changes.
I agree on two things. Mainly the old textures. I hate new gravel, bricks, and cobble. As for the dyed redstone, it seems like an okay idea. I dont like any other ideas, except MAYBE the fish.
