I like this idea, Especially the lost pigmen one,almost reminds me of Fallout,There could be little tribes of pigmen,a little smaller than a normal village,Of which there could be things like a little fire pit or 2,a small desert well,and 1 by 2 block white-wool beds in the ground by the fire!

I don't really like this idea. Normal nether pigmen are good enough for me.

I like this idea. Maybe the pigmen wouldn't just spawn, but instead they would appear like charged creepers. When a pig is struck by lightning it turns into a pigman. I think NPCs talking to you like you suggested could be a whole other idea that would make things much more interesting. Can't wait to see how this idea developes.

Another idea for this (assuming that pigmen get their own villages): markets.

Markets will spawn in both pigmen villages and testificate villages. There will be three or four stalls containing either a testificate OR a pigman, regardless of what race actually owns the village. Testificate merchants wear blue robes, while pigmen villagers wear blue tunics or togas (whichever you want).

You can also see merchants of either race walking around on the surface, sort of like a Skyrim random event. They will walk in the direction of the nearest village. You can trade with these villagers, or kill them for some of their goods (this will anger the town they are walking to so be careful).

In the event that pigmen DON'T have villages, i'll just suggest those: they live underground in ravine-like areas. I'll make some concept pictures.

So in a nutshell, if you encounter an evil pigman, you're pretty much forced to go on a suicide mission. I'm personally not a fan of this idea...

I don't think such an idea would work out, we already have NPC Villages occupied by caveman squidwards.

Ugh.. I dont know what actually to say...
Lost pigman? No, maybe villager human with white flag on his left hand. this would be more ordinary for Minecraft
Evil pigman? Half-Yes. As pigman - no, as human - yes.(Could human mate with pigs???) Evil human? Yes. He will still be attacked by zombies, however. And will give as reward something made, baked, boiled... Mushroom stew, gravel, baked potato, bread...

And this is where I stopped taking you seriously. Over-suggested pigman variation topics aren't worth my time.

Not enough detail at all, but in general I could see surviving normal pigmen living in underground villages in The Nether.
