My suggestion is simply to nerf or make enchanting books less overpowered. Now I know some of you might be saying it's balanced by costing more experience, Iron and Leather however those do not equal up to Diamonds you would normally need to risk when trying to get a good enchantment. My reasoning behind this is experience is easy to obtain from mob farms, Leather can be fairly easily obtained from cows and Iron can be easily obtained from mining or farming if you want to make an Iron Golem farm. I would suggest that there at least be one Diamond required to make the new enchanting books because otherwise you can just keep enchanting the books until you get the perfect enchantments for your first/early Diamond tools/armor on a world and with that it makes it much too easy without there being more of a balance.
Here are some possible recipes that can be taken into consideration to make it more costly.

They aren't even in the game yet and people are already complaining...
*sigh*
I wonder why Mojang even keep coding the game with such an ungrateful community sometimes.
I'm not ungrateful, the idea was great in principle, they just happened to not make it balanced enough.
I think the balance is fine. You can only get one Enchantment per book, and each enchantment that you apply to a single item costs more XP. For a single Diamond Sword with Sharpness V, Looting III and Fire Aspect II you will need 90 levels for the Enchantments, and another 25 to attach it all to the sword. This of course assumes you are using 30 levels to get the best possible enchantments per book, and the fact that it costs about 5 levels more for each item you attach.
So that is 115 levels for a sword to your exact specifications, and probably a hell of a lot more considering there are ~60 possible enchantments you can get, taking all the various levels into account. I know I'm not taking into account the low chance of getting a weak enchantment on a book with 30 levels but it puts you at a 0.000426% chance of getting the three you wanted without using any other books.

This is true, but do you agree that it is still easier than trying that low chance on actual Diamond swords? Also has the enchantability value of the books been found out yet?

For the value, I have no idea. But no, I don't think it is easier. Unless I REALLY want a specific weapon, I'd just throw a random couple enchantments on my gear and hope for a decent set or at least ones I could use for a while and combine with another sword with different enchantments later.
