One /gamerule command that makes perfect sense to add is something that makes dispensers never actually consume the items inside. I can think of several uses for this, mostly for adventure maps:
Epic fireworks displays that go on forever in Creative mode builds.
Constantly-firing arrow obstacles in adventure mode where the player can't just wait for them to run out of ammo.
Same as above, except with splash potions.
Minecart and boat vending machines for adventure maps that give the player as many uses as he/she wants.
Item-spawning systems in adventure maps that make the player actually go get the item (whereas command blocks just instantly place it in your inventory.)
Mob spawning mechanisms for adventure maps (done with spawn eggs) that will spawn a mob whenever a certain action is performed.
Personally I'm surprised this doesn't exist already, as it just fits with the /gamerule command. Also, many adventure map features that dispenser blocks would seem to be perfect for just won't work because they'll eventually stop working. Remember that each dispenser can only hold 576 items (2,304 if you hack each stack up to 256), which may seem like a lot, but it'll run out at some point. Plus, it's just annoying to spawn nine stacks of something in creative mode and put them all in the dispenser, especially if you need to fill more than one of them.
Perhaps a better way of doing this would be to have a button on the dispenser interface that can toggle this on and off for each individual dispenser, but (for obvious reasons) it would only appear in creative mode.
So what do you think? Anyone have any other ideas on how this could be used?

█▀▀█ He made it so you couldn't have more than two lines in a signature.
Dispensers which go forever shouldn't be loot-able in survival/adventure,
because then you have an easy infinite block maker.
I'll make a better information picture at some point.
