I saw this, and it was a cool concept.

So, it would be crafted with Lapis and Obsidian, and I think that it should be implemented into the game.

Posible Uses:
• Light Source
• Portal Frame
• Decoration
• "Jazzing Up" The End
• and More!

What do you guys think? Any more uses you can think of? Share your ideas and commentary below.

I would Love for this to come back to Minecraft but I highly doubt they will bring it back. But then again with a lot of support of players might give it a chance. But I like the suggestion!

Hmm, I believe it was originally added a spawn point setter, but was replaced in favor of the bed. if we could craft it, I would support it as a light source or something. It's kinda a cool looking block, if it was added back it would be very interesting.

You would be correct. But since beds I figured that it should live on for a different purpose. Thank you for feedback.

I had an idea where it would be a craft able block, made with an obsidian and a ghast tear that when powered by redstone would start on fire..

Honestly, I'm happy it's not in the game. İt's horribly ugly.

I would like some sort of way to change spawnpoint in the nether. Maybe rightclicking a crying obsidian?
or maybe using it for a new portal? to a new diminsion?

Im pretty sure they removed it from the game for a reason!

If they add this block back, it would be cool if this block would act as block for constructable portal to the end
