Awesome, glad to see that this suggestion got somewhere (Not that it is known that this suggestion influenced the addition, but it is exactly as this suggestion planned).
Potions of leaping have been added to the game as of 14w27a !!!!!!

I like this idea, but with Health boost and Absorption, I think the effects should last longer, if not infinitely. Maybe have the Nether Worm be a new boss that drops the worm heart, then you eat the heart and have an infinite health boost that adds 2 extra hearts, even after you die.
Invisibility should be brewed with glowstone blocks. Why? Because invisibility in science fiction is just light being generated to mask something - glowstone could be that light.
Technically, an object would have to be darker than all of it's surroundings for that sort of thing. Bah, who cares about technicalities?
The real problem with that idea is that Glowstone Blocks aren't actually difficult to attain.
For any other potion, that might not be a problem, but for invisibility it doesn't work out.

there should be a potion of brightness, which makes you glow in the dark. it is used with glowstone and has the same lighting effects as glowstone.
This topic is about adding the missing potions, not adding new potion effects. Another problem is that glowstone is already used for brewing level 2 potions. Not only that, but dynamic lighting will not be added to Minecraft anytime soon if at all.
Love it. Support. I don't use potions as much as I should, to be honest.
I love the Nether Worm idea, too. Reminds me of the mongolian death worm. Maybe have it make a rumbling sound when it's underground, so you know when it's coming.
Quote from Nariofan101»Saturation refills your entire hunger bar within two seconds, and it's "not very useful"? Wha- But, I just- I don't- But- Whaaaaaaaat?
The saturation potion is much like the instant health and instant damage potions. It is an instant effect that does not have an effect time. This is why 2 seconds fill up to full, because it is an instant effect and is not supposed to have an effect time. Thus it can only fill up 1-2 hunger (.5-1 stick).
