I constantly use redstone, it's the one thing I'm fairly decent at. I think that this should be implemented immediately
It would be amazing, as Strottinglemon said, this suggestion is just too awesome to be buried under emerald tools and guns.
That's why we need to publish it on minecraft forums. But right now, we don't have a banner nor some expert to make it.
Any help would be appreciated, though.

But if we can keep the thread alive, larger chance some banner maker will see it. This is one of the rare perfect suggestions. Expands a current object, isn't overpowered, is useful, and wouldn't break any current features.

LIVE THREAD, LIIIIIVE! (Perhaps you should update the thread title to something more exciting like Movable Torches: Cars (or whatever those inchworm things are called), Memory, and More! Or something.

=D
Why didn't I think about this before? What about... Revolution in Piston Mechanics: Cars, Infinite memory, Robots and More!
I'm not sure.
EDIT:This post (my post #42) has just got me the title "The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything..."!!! Now I'm not gonna post for a week... Just kidding XD
Honestly, even as much as I enjoy reading, I'm sleepy and skipped the end.
But honestly, brilliant. +1 and major support from me.
Thanks for the support! Also, I'm gonna make some changes (again) to the OP. Maybe make it less technical\easier to read and put the detailed description of the infinite memory machine on a spoiler.
(Actually I'm kinda new in the forums, so... how do I make an spoiler? I didn't find it on the toolbar)
I have a neat idea for a banner for this. I'll see what I can do.

Unfortunately, from what I've seen is that my current idea (which was using signs to display text) is next to impossible to read on a small enough scale to fit it in a banner. I'll keep thinking on it but right now I am at a loss.

That's a shame. But maybe you could use fonts from an HD texture pack? Like Sphax PureDB Craft or any you may have installed on your PC. I'm pretty sure the fonts are also changed with the texture pack.
EDIT: Just curious about what happened to your older sig...
What could make this suggestion even better would be slime-glue! Right click a block surface with a slimeball and a slime splat will appear on it like sticky pistons. (Also the recipe for sticky pistons would be removed, instead made by right clicking a piston with a slimeball) Here's a few pictures on what it would do since I am bad at using words:
Normal cobble next to piston
When pushed w/ a block next to it
Cobble with glue/slime on a face (not actual proposed texture of the splatter, duh)
Slimed cobble when pushed with a block next to it
This could be used when making those piston engines. You could glue a simple clock to it so the engine would keep inching forward. You could glue some glass and furniture to it and BAM, tram. It would have to have a limit to how many blocks could be glued to one another, though, like pistons do.

(PERFECT new title, BTW)
Wow. Nice work with the screenshots. And the item frame.
You know that I've always wondered about glue blocks exactly the same way as yours? But I thought that they would be really hard to implement. But applying stickyness only to "child" blocks seemed much easier, and would still guarantee many possibilities for redstone (and doesn't need any extra items or blocks). And this idea is not very original either. People have already posted things like "hey, if you could just use a slimeball to glue blocks..." hundreds of times on the forums, which was rather disappointing for me.
Here's what I mean: http://www.minecraft...-to-any-blocks/ http://www.minecraft...-sticky-blocks/
and many others if you believe me. Maybe if you add an original touch for it...
EDIT: Yeah, I didn't know why I hadn't still changed it to something more interesting. Slowy, we learn the art of advertising.
Edit: @IVCraft: My last signature was poking fun at Ms_Britten, the former M&M admin (and my girlfriend). It annoyed her so I thought I would change it.

Okay it is not working at all. So please fix it so we can spread the idea! Kudos to creativity!!!
The reason it isn't working is because of the way MCF shortens URLs. As you can see above, the part in the URL tag has the first part of the link, then an ellipses (...) then the end of the link. But the URL tag isn't looking at where the link would lead you to, it's just looking at the text. In order to fix it, edit your post and click the little light switch icon in the top left to change the editing mode, then copy my embed code again.
It's not a problem with how I wrote it, it's the fact that IPB (the people who designed the code for these forums) are morons who can't differentiate when something should be automatically converted to finished BBCode or not.
I did the exact same thing I just suggested you try and now it looks like this:

Should I ask him to? Or we could wait till an banner maker reads this topic and actually likes it...
That's what I was thinking at the end of the post... But we need to find a way to make this thread popular enough to reach mojang,
=D

Thanks. You came just in the right time!
Yeah, many people have pointed that out. But when I posted I didn't know it, and also I've put some original ideas in it...
EDIT: Noooo, 43 posts. I have just lost my title :'(
