Hey guys, I haven't been on the suggestions forum a lot in the past, but now I am back. Im here with one suggestion before my Adventure suggestion is posted. This suggestion is sand castles.
Sand castles are ten×ten blocks big, and about seven tall, excluding the tower. They spawn on beaches and are made of sandstone. They are common for structures.
As I said before they have a central tower. So there are seven block high walls, one with a gate. Then there are two blocks between the wall and the tower. The tower is four×four hollow tower which has a staircase to a small room that is six×six blocks large, and two blocks high. The roof of it is slanting upward sandstone.
The tower room has a 50% chance to have a chest. Thee chest has common-uncommon items, which means no diamonds but sometimes iron or gold ingots.
So this structure, even with no chest, is a good temporary house while you survive your first night.
Thabks for reading this small, random post. Lets see how well this thread gets.
As I'm no fan of generated structures in general, I'm bound to dislike your suggestion.
I think the feeling of entering a fresh Minecraft world is a bit ruined when encountering a structure.
Okay, they're cool the first time you see them, but later they're just an easy way to get stone bricks/sandstone.
Just my opinion though.

I know what you feel. Remember the old Beta days when there were no structures except dungeons? That was pretty fun.
