Command blocks are a great addition to Minecraft (lets just avert our eyes from the bats and witches). But while command blocks are great and all, they are still somewhat limited.
The command system needs a bit more. For instance:
1) A command akin to /clear that only deletes a certain item/items in a player's inventory.
2) A command that can set a certain mob spawn,or directly spawn a mob at x y z.
3) A command that can give out a redstone signal according to cetain conditions.
Also, they have yet to put in an If/Then command. Solution?
If block A has Conditions X and Z met, the command block will act as a Conducting Block.
If block A is unable to find a player who meets Conditions X and Z, the command block will act as a non-connducting block, thus creating an IF/Then scenario.
So, you could direct a repeater into a Command Block, and if it finds "@p[lm=5]" It will allow the current to pass through and power the surrounding blocks. If it cannot find a player that has LevelMinimum of 5, it will act as glass, and NOT let the current pass through. Nifty, eh.
Please, give me you feedback, or ideas for other dynamic commands. I would love it.

So this is not so much command blocks, but more commands in general. I support your idea, and it would be nice to be able to have a command that teleports block of coordinates "X, Y, Z" to a new "X, Y, Z", and if there is already a block there, it swaps position with the block you're teleporting. Also, a command that sets the path of a mob that is located at a specific "X, Y, Z" to a destination point at "X, Y, Z" or just find the nearest mob of a particular type, or just the nearest mob.
It's very interesting. Basically, you want to take the currently existing scripts and make them more expansive. Pretty much by putting in conditionals (if/then/else) that alone would make command blocks be a pretty full programming language (kinda. in a way.) lol

Mostly but #3 is good. I just couldn't see using number 3 in my creative, but that's just me. That's where the incredible chain of red stoning comes in. How about the ability to paste a link in there, like a shortened link to a youtube video? I make mostly RPG maps, and so having a button that can play a cinematic could come in handy. "/v @p http://bit.ly/watch/video" (v=view, which would open it in the default browser)
Also, they have yet to put in an If/Then command. Solution?
There are already a few if/then conditions. For instance, if @p is within x radius and in gamemode y, continue with this process, else end.
In summation. While I suppor the portion of this post that copies numerous other suggestions, the rest of it is either implemented, or rubbish. No support.

No...nonononono. 1, it'll never get put in because of 2, that's a huge security problem. While I support the extension of the CB, I don't support this suggestion. I don't want someone else making a block that can take over my computer and perform actions outside of Minecraft without my consent.

/tp <playername>[r=6] X Y Z this means you could have it so you only teleport if you push it and not another player
You mean like the /clear command that already works with command blocks exactly the way that you describe?
This has been suggested several times before and has received substantial support.
Wow, what a very sneaky way to add wireless redstone to your suggestion without having to actually say the hated words.
