Great idea. I think that there should be a special auto rotater that rotates indefinitly though. And the redstone rotater makes my brain hurt (just like all redstone contraptions lol). But support.

i love the main concept but the directer block seems a little out of place ,correct me if am wrong but cant you just use a repeater.

How to make a redstone clock
rp = Redstone Repeater r = Redstone
Place the blocks as shown. r | rp | r rp | | rp r | rp | r
Make sure the repeaters point like this: <- down up ->
And there you go. Activate it and you have an endless loop. Don't activate it and leave it, activate it for as little as you can, then BREAK it. SUGGESTED! Make the activation push the redstone that is activating the clock (not the ones connected to the repeaters!) out of the way once it is activated. SO pressure plates will work with this technique.
As a big fan of redstone, I really like the idea. The rotator could maybe be put to good use in alot of redstone circuits.
However, I'm a bigger fan of the director block. It could easily make very compact circuits, and that's what we all love, don't we?

I'd name the 'power director' something more redstone-ish. maybe 'Redstone director'.
I like it a lot. I think this could be useful fro a turning hallway trap with tripwires before the dispenser. The rotator would time the block, fire, turn again, fire, etc. I would really like this to work.
