I think that the game should be made to look more realistic, here are a few suggestions
1. Like the bats there should be squirrels and birds added to the game, they will serve no purpose except looks
2. Water should be thinner when falling downward, instead of being a whole block thick
3. Grass could have a 3D Texture so that it looks rough instead of completely smooth
4. Different Types of blocks could have the corners slightly blended, like the biome transition
5. Tall grass should cover the entire block and be shorter
6. Biomes Should change over a longer distance like maybe 10 blocks
7. When water is flowing the source should start of about the size of a half block, not flow and create a kind of puddle
8. Ponds should be less common but bigger
9. I think apples should be visible inside leaf blocks that have apples in them, also apples should only be found in certain trees not certain leaf blocks.
10. There should be less underground dirt deposits in basins (http://www.minecraft...ructures#Basins)
11. There should be snows under trees in snow biomes
12. Less water in the desert biomes, it is so easy to find water in a desert
Do not post that minecraft is not meant to be realistic because these have mainly a looks influence
As you could probably see already, the game isn't meant to look realistic. At all.
It should still look more realistic, also it is meant to look realistic just is limited by the block system and the lack of thought put into more realism
1. Yeah Im okay with that
2. No, people already made cool designs using that
3. Grass ALREADY looks rough. Be more observant.
4. So like...A Diamond block BLENDING with an Iron block? I dont think that would be good
5. How would it cover the entire block if it is SHORTER than it is now?
6. So basically, it is the same except 10 blocks bigger?
7. No, it will ruin the existing water contraptions
8. I am okay with that.
9. Are you sure you want BiIRCH or PINE to have apples?
10. That would be great
11. I would want that
12. Nah, I like the desert having many water.
You have some good ideas. Make them in different posts, describing it more. Or, do it here because they are related and not just wishlisting.

2. I can't think of any design that would require that
3. I mean rougher
4. It would would only blend the conflicting blocks, like dirt, stone and gravel
5. I mean't horizontally
6. Yeah
7. The flowing swimming work still work as long as you are inside the block area but it would look thinner
9. I mean't only oak
12. There are many biomes with lots of water, the desert is the one if any that needs the water to be more scarce, also water is renewable so just 2 buckets and its done

Creeper Hugging, Its fun but it might be the last fun thing you do

2. Sethbling's Portal in Minecraft is one example.
12. I dont care if water is renewable, but the landscape looks cooler because of the yellowish sand are with the blue water (Well... to an artist like me then I keep these in mind)
