First I want to talk about heads. They are a cool decorative block but so far only wither skeletons drop them. Why not have all mobs have a super rare chance of dropping their respective skull as well? Would be nice to more options with them. For player skulls why not have them a rare chance to generate that specific players head as a result of a PvP kill. Make it like a trophy of the people you concurred in PvP to display and show people you are a force to be reckoned with. (or make a head museum.)
Second a couple new potion ideas.
First one I was thinking about is a wither effect resistance potion. It would evolve from a potion of weakness by either adding a blaze powder or a magma cream. Giving the player resistance to wither for 1 min 30 sec and extended 3 min.
Second a different form of Bottle of enchanting but instead of free levels you use your own. There is nothing worse then walking around with 25 or so levels trying to get to 30 then dieing and losing most or all of it. (some people dont use exp farms.) Why no be able to store your levels in a potion that you can store or even share to help some friends out. Here is how it works. Take a normal awkward potion and take it to an enchanting table. Put the potion in the enchanting slot and select and enchantment slot. The number of your levels stored in the potion would be the number on the slot chosen. When drunk you get those levels back.
Just some ideas I think would be cool to have in the game right now. Hope other people think so.
The tamable bat mob is too overpowered. Showing you Items from where you died?? Showing ores??I don't think it would be very good. But the head thing is.

I can see how showing where your corpse is and ores could be over powered and possibly help you collect items. Also maybe the item collection can be used to help get blocks that have fallen to dangerous ares on command and can only be use so many times. As well as the distraction being a one time use.
The tameable bat thing does seem a bit OP/unnecessary but it would still be cool if they did something else then just fly around and squeak. At least drop a couple exp or an item for a new potions recipe. Half the time I watch them fly straight into lava to never return from the fire depths.

But Tameable Bats? not so much.
i prefer them to be aesthetic mobs.
