WHAT? Really, they would have to make a Wii version, because that would be much easier. Each console/computer should stick to 1 controller
PC/MAC - Keyboard and Mouse
XBOX - Controller
Mobile Devices - Touchscreen
Yeah...I didn't just mean Wii Remote. I meant any controller in general other than keyboard. On the PC version. For example, adding Xbox 360 controller compatibility with PC version.
Uuuuuh no. Already 3 systems. Xbox, pc, mobile. Now you're saying they should add wii remotes!!!! First of all, updates are slow enough with 3 versions. I just don't agree.
Actually, with a little computer science, and lots of adapters, you can make controllers work for Minecraft yourself.
I myself don't think this is necessary, hence Minecraft is a computer game designed for computer controls.
Programming support for the IR controls and for the accelerometer would be rather difficult. It would also be rather pointless, as you would need some kind of IR sensor for at least that part (even though the rest is done via bluetooth iirc).
I don't support adding support for the Wii controller's IR beam and accelerometer because that would be a pain to add and you'd need special accessories to even use those parts afaik. But allowing Minecraft to read Raw input for most general controllers should be added.

I already use a six axis to play on my mac -- it literally took five minutes to set up, and bind. You just need the drivers. If you can already use a gaming controller either through bluetooth, or usb on your computer, it takes mere moments to bind the keys. Doing the coding for a wiimote would be obnoxious at best.
There are lots of other suggestion topics discussing alternate controller support for Minecraft. Please use the search function before posting new topics in the suggestion forum section.

No other PC games do that. This would make minecraft so weird. Your idea is dumb.
I would love it if you checked out my "about me" page on my profile and looked at my threads I'm always happy to see new posters.
