I have a sheep pen, the pen surrounds the sheep except and opening in the front which is two blocks high, to allow me to feed and shear the sheep. The sheep are prevented from leaving by having a single ladder in the opening in front of them. Since the sheep are two blocks high, a single ladder on the 2nd block is enough to keep them in their pens.
b = block, S = sheep, L= block with a ladder,
s = sheeps legs in front view (or a baby sheep)

What I noticed is that baby sheep, which are 1 block high are also blocked by this ladder. It would be nice if since baby animals are only one block high, that they are only blocked by something that is also one block high. This would mean my sheep pen, could be an effective sheep breeding pen too, as the baby sheep would be able to exit the pen.
