Earlier today while my internet was out, I decided to start up a new world in Hardcore to play in. I started pondering on some things I would like to see changed in minecraft, and I'm sure others would like to see added, changed, or fixed
(I know I probably have many grammar and spelling issues, As I did each of this on the fly whilst playing)
1. Hardcore Health Regen
Whenever the world the player is creating is set to hardcore, you can set an additional option to enable, and disable health regen while hunger is full.
2. Mob AI
Mobs should be able to see you through "transparent" objects such as windows, and doors.
Mobs should be able to "hear" you if you make too many sounds, such as jumping, and interacting with objects that produce a sound.
3. Enderdragon Overhaul
You've probably all fought the enderdragon at one point, and as you know from experience the only real threat is the Enderman, and Hunger.
Maybe tweak the dragon to make it less timid, so it will attack you?
Just an idea, but the dragon should shoot fire, not often, but only about 2-3 times in a full fight.
Then as you all know, the most difficult part of killing it, is that it gets frozen when it flies a little too far from you.
So perhaps force the end to load the chunks the dragon is within, to solve that problem, of course it will take slightly more resources but its worth it.
4. Stronghold Generation
If you've ever been to a stronghold in minecraft, you have probably noticed they end up looking like utter crap due to ravines, abandoned mine shafts and the sorts...
I'm not absolutely sure how things are spawned in minecraft, but I'm sure there is a fine order in what spawns, where. Like terrain, then trees, then grass or something of the sorts.
Now, to get to the point, my idea to make strongholds more appealing would be to make them spawn last in the generation order, so if an abandoned mineshaft was in a location, that a stronghold was also supposed to be in; the mineshaft would spawn there, then afterwards the stronghold would overlay that, forcing all of the mineshaft within to be replaced with the stronghold instead.
5. Food Stacking
I personally have disliked how food has been able to stack up to 64 since it came out
I liked the challenge before it was, how you had to manage your inventory better to bring what food you need, on what journeys you partook in, it just added more of a challenge, and adventure feel to minecraft.
So my proposal for this one, would be to make meats stackable to a more realistic number, like 12, or 6
6. Pet Wolves
As most of you know, owning a pet wolf is one of the most obnoxious things in minecraft, as they are whimpering for no reason constantly, and they will glitch out and teleport to you, even if you commanded them to sit.
I believe the wolf should only whimper if there is a threat nearby, being hurt, or is hungry.
I think with the new naming of items, it would be awesome to add Dog Tags to put on your dog, this would make it so you could right click your dog with a dogtag, it would place it on his collar, now with this on his collar you can than right click him with a book or something that makes more sense to open up a GUI that lets you set his name.
If a wolf has a set name, he will then have a name over his head, or you could "read' his dogtag by right clicking him if your not the owner of the wolf.
7. Custom "generate-structures" option
As a server owner, whenever we have to make a new world, or if we have to use another world for some purpose. I tend to always consider whether or not to generate structures, as we want to keep some, but not the others.
So currently the option in the server.properties file says "generate-structures=true" but you can put false to completely disable it.
Although, we want to keep most of the structures, we don't want the stupid crap like jungle temples, pyramids, and witch huts. (and mine shafts because they are always in the way)
So I've been wanting them to expand this option by making individual options for the structures.
8. Variety in Mob Textures
I've been getting tired of every chicken, every wolf, every zombie, every skeleton looking exactly the same..
As a lot of people know, some texture packs, and I think its optifine that includes an option for this. It allows for each spawned mob to have a random texture from its kind
For instance, zombies should have the default outfit, maybe another one with some color difference, just spice up the variety in mobs appearance, and I think we'll all be fine. (although we've been fine this long)
A part of this I really thought would be awesome, is this on wolves. Imagine spending a few minecraft days hunting for the right skinned wolf, maybe to show it off as your prized animal on multiplayer servers to have found the black wolf, with a white spot or something of the sorts.
Now obviously, not all mobs would have a randomized skin such as Ender Dragons, Ghasts, Silverfish, and the sorts as they are more unique looking
Look at cats for instance, people already spend a lot of time trying to get the right breed why not allow this to work for wolves also?
9. PvP based, not PvE friendly
With most of the things being added since 1.0, the game has turned towards PvP, making things stronger, overpowered, and such.
Along with these changes, they have not been PvE friendly at all, you can take out entire hordes of zombies, skeletons, and the such with barely any effort due to all these features meant for counteracting each other, being used on them.
The only thing they can really do here to fix this issue is to make mobs stronger, but that will off balance with a player that just begun. So not much I can come up with to fix this...
10. Priorities
In my opinion, and quite a few from the amount of rants on this topic is that mojang needs to get their priorities in line.
They are adding an excessive amount of new content to the game, while only taking care of a few of the bugs.
We all know its easier to add new things, then to go back and repair things. Although its more important to have a non-buggy game, to put these new features on, then to keep adding new features, while keeping most of the previous bugs.
In the long run, these bugs are going to keep building up, as new bugs pop up with every new feature. Now talk about how difficult it is to fix a giant pile of bugs, then our current amount of bugs...
I personally would rather have the bugs be fixed, then each of the new features I listed between 1-9.
If you agree with ANY of these ideas, please vote for them in the poll above. If you have any ideas you think should be added, or people start to agree on, I'll add it to this post and poll.

Curse PremiumSo, I should post 10 threads with a small paragraph in each?
I thought this would be a more organized manner of sharing my opinions and suggestions.
