You know, when you have a bow with one arrow left, you really want to make it count. But to make it count, you have to lower the health of the monster or person you are fighting. My idea is that there should be different types of arrows and headshots. The different types of arrows you could make could be flaming arrows ( in a crafting box, it would be an arrow underneath a piece of coal), explosive tipped (in a crafting box, it would be an arrow underneath a piece of TNT), and poisoned tipped (in a crafting box that would be an arrow underneath a potion of poison [using one poison can make 5 posion tipped arrows and you can get your bottle back]. As for headshots, you should be able to kill zombies, creepers, and other players by simply shooting them in the head with an arrow. Also, any arrow that hits a monster will stick out of the part it hit. Players could die from one arrow to the head (the game over screen will say HEADSHOT above the words Game Over), zombies could get hit twice times in the head before they die, creepers could get killed by one arrow, and spiders, skeletons, and cave spiders wouldn't be affected.
Everything that is mentioned in this suggestion has been suggested already a thousand times before, and those previous threads have gotten locked because of redundancy. I'm not trying to backseat moderate or anything, just giving a heads up. I could live with the headshots part, but adding all those other arrow types I think would be overpowered. We already have flaming arrows with the "Flame" enchantment.
You can pick off a mob quite easily by spamming arrows at it - doing so without having the mob notice you. So adding the explosive or poison arrows is kinda overkill, and would be more overkill if the headshots thing was implemented.
Also, happy first post!
