Now that there are quite a lot of trees, flowers, and plants I felt that there should be more types of mushrooms to compensate. Also, I just want there to be more mushrooms. I have two ideas for this: an idea for a yellow mushroom and an idea for a blue mushroom.
The yellow mushroom is based off of common morels in real life. Yellow mushrooms are the rarest of all mushrooms and are taller than the two previous mushrooms.
When used in brewing, yellow mushrooms can make a Potion of Growth (or a Potion of Shrinking when used with a fermented spider eye). A Potion of Growth would allow the user to become three blocks high and jump two blocks high instead of one, but increase his or her hitbox size. A Potion of Shrinking would allow the user to become small enough to go through 1x1 holes but would be able to take fall damage from falling from much shorter heights.
Blue mushrooms are not based off anything in real life. They would glow a bright blue and would have the same light level as torches, and allow for a differently colored light source instead of orange torch lights and yellow glowstone lights (please note: I came up with this idea before I saw any other ideas for glowing mushrooms). Blue mushrooms are the smallest of all mushrooms, and would still glow even when it is a giant mushroom. Blue mushrooms can also be used in brewing, and can create a Potion of Attraction (or a Potion of Repelling with a fermented spider eye). The Potion of Attraction can be used to spawn a bunch of random mobs at once (don't use it at night!), while the potion of repellance would either cuse existing mobs to run away or despawn. If either potion hits you or you drink the potions, then you will attract or repel mobs, respectively.
With four mushrooms in all, a new crafting idea can surface. If a player has all four mushroom types, then he can craft an Advanced Mushroom Stew, which adds 5 to the hunger bar and a nourishment value of 1.6. (Of course, the mushrooms could be rearranged in any pattern to craft this.)

Well, that's all I got. I hope you like my ideas!
True, but in comparison to the total amount of different mushrooms there are, there is quite an imbalance!
Those are good stats. Fixed.
