In the next version of minecraft I think we should make fire a little bit cooler.
First off, maybe when fire burns down a building, it leaves ash blocks behind. The ashes fall are like sand, but they are grey, and if they get stacked too high the blocks slip to sides.
Also, fire should be able to burn wooden chests. Why? Duh, they're made of wood. Make an iron chest if you don't want it to burn.
Household objects, such as enchantment tables, brewing stand, etc (well, maybe not so "household") well anyway once the floor burns they should fall to the ground. It would be silly if a house burnt down and the furnace just floated there. Also, if an enchantment table is in a fire, the book should burn, leaving the stand itself. Two points for something like that: Decoration, or put it in a museum of things that burnt in that huge building.
Just came to me. Thought it would be pretty cool, please give me your honest opinion!
While this does sound cool, there's one thing bugging me: You do realize why furnaces don't move when pushed by pistons or in the air, yes? Same with dispensers. If they were to move or fall, all items in them would vanish. This may be wrong, but I'm 96% sure this is what would happen.
Also, an Iron Chest would just be Iron surrounding a wooden chest, yes? It'd be cool if they could only open while receiving a redstone pulse.
I hate people who complain. I hate spiders. I hate people who own an Xbox One. I hate people who like sandbox games. I hate people who like first person shooters. I hate people who like explosions. I hate people who like video games. I hate people who are hateful. I hate people that don't like spam. I hate people who like cake. I hate people who type in proper grammar and spell words properly on the internet. I hate hypocrites.

An iron chest would just be made with iron, no wood.
And I don't know what you're talking about in the first place.
The ashes when burning down a building idea is very interesting, though I personally think they should be grey, rather than black, since that is the actual colour of ash. Yeah, I meant that. Burning down the chests is also a good idea, but how would the items inside the chest act to this change? Spill out? Burn? Just disappear? I personally think that they should turn into little ash piles once expelled from the chest.I was thinking the items spill out and dissapear in the fire, either dissapering or maybe turning to ash. Something I'd like to point out is that enchantment tables aren't actually made out of wood, but obsidian. Yes, I know, and I never said that they should burn. They should just fall when the floor beneath them burns. The book on top should burn, but not the table itself. Excellent Idea! But the enchantment table with the book burnt would be pretty much worthless except for decoration.
All in all, a nice idea. just needs a bit of work Thanks! I'll add your idea of the book burning.

He is saying it is impossible, at the moment, to make any item with internal storage, eg chests, furnaces, brewing stands, etc, fall to the ground without making them lose whatever they had stored into them, making all those items fall to the ground as if you had destroyed the furnace or whatever.
Doesn't mean Jeb can't make it so furnaces can't fall, but currently no block that has internal storage can be moved, falling, piston, or otherwise, without losing everything that is in it.
