Farming can be very boring in the game sometimes so this is a list of ideas I came up with to help improve that:
-Rabbits
My first idea is rabbits. When you have a rabbit in your garden, it'll eat your crops and leave you nothing . Rabbits are tricky, and will only come out when your not around. So to add to this, you can make a wooden rabbit trap, cobblestone rabbit trap, or a stone rabbit trap. Wooden traps will catch the rabbit and give you some leather, roughly about 1-3, and you can use them 5 times. Cobblestone traps will catch the rabbit, but not kill it. You can use a carrot to tame it and it will keep other rabbits away from your garden and it won't eat your crops as long as you feed it every mine craft day. Stone traps will catch the rabbit and force it to go back to its home. You can see the imprints on the surface and follow them back. There will be 10-15 rabbits in the home but they'll all hide when you discover it. You can set up traps, but like I said before rabbits are tricky, so if you want to get one with a trap at all, you'll have to be strategic.
-Carrots
Well, above kind of explains these, but they heal 3/10s of your hunger bar and when eaten they allow you to see in the dark like its daytime for 10 seconds.
Peanuts
Peanuts are an assential part in dynamite, so these could be crushed and crafted into a stick of dynamite that could be thrown like a grenade. Also peanuts could be used to feed rabbits, or as a trap for an unexpecting animal.
So you are suggesting an explosive projectile? That has already been suggested before in the form of grenades.
I also fail to see what dynamite has to do with farming.

Its not the dynamite im suggesting, its the peanuts, the dynamite would be one of those things you could craft by using peanuts.

9 string = ball of string
Ball of string + 2 gunpowder + 2 peanut powder + fuse = dynamite.

Retired Staff2) We already have TNT.
3) Not that it will be needed since we already have TNT, but you never gave a recipe for the fuse.
