This is a small suggestion but an effective one. As everyone knows, dispensers are commonly used in traps designed to kill another player. However, what good is a trap that can easily be deactivated through right clicking it and stealing its arrows / fire charges / lava buckets?
My idea to make dispensers more effective is for them to be non-accessible from the front of the dispenser that dispenses things. Dispensers would still be able to be looted or stocked, just not from the front. I think that if dispensers could be tweaked to work like this, it would make them much more useful in adventure maps or traps in general.
Any feedback or helpful criticism is welcome.
There are ways to prevent dispenser tampering. Having a piston slide up a solid block when it's not in use. Or place it far enough back that it can still shoot, but not be reached. Honestly, this idea would solely benefit adventure mode. Any other mode you could just smash stuff to get to the dispenser.

there's so many existing ways to prevent players to not get into dispensers. If you need to give players items, use the command blocks.

All right, it was just a nifty idea that I got. Didn't think it'd hurt to implement it.
