Hi, I'm fairly new to the Minecraft Forums, and I noticed that it doesn't appear to have an Introduction thread :/ Isn't that kinda manditory for a forum site?? :/ I'd really love to see one ^_6 And also, I never used to play Indie games on the Xbox 360, but I just recently started getting some cause they're starting to get better, and while I was looking through them, I found like 10 different rolecrafting games on there that have their own unique ideas that Minecraft doesn't have and that would make Minecraft soooo much better if they we're tweaked to fit Minecraft and put into it Just thought I'd mention that so more people will start checking them out and then maybe Minecraft can get some of the genious ideas they have ^_6 Some examples of great ideas in Indie Rolecrafting games are:
- Castle Miner 1 & 2 (Which are basically like Minecraft fuzed with Resident Evil)
- Murder Miners (I love the "Mining Gun" in that game, it not only mines the blocks really quick, but it also projects a hologram of what you want to place to kinda give you a preview before you place it ^_6)
- Fortress Miner (This one also has a mining gun, but it's much, much faster than the one from Murder Miners, it can rapidly place and rapidly destroy blocks with a quickness, and using it to place blocks underneath you to get to the sky is a LOT faster than flying in Minecraft ^_6)
Well, hope you guys check those out and hopefully it'll inspire new upcoming Minecraft ideas ^_6 Also, great idea adding Minecraft stuff into Borderlands 2, that just makes me even more anxious to play that game, lol ^_6
True, but is it not good business to take the good ideas your competitor has then adapt it to your product?
Ya, ure right, I was just thinkin, y'know?? I just wanna see Minecraft get as big and amazing as it possibly can ^_6 Also, Minecraft needs more liquids and it needs collapsable blocks that collapse when you walk over them, and rotating pistons would also be awsome, and what about Liquid Mobs, would that work?? Cause that would be neat, anyone have any ideas on how Liquid Mobs would work if they were added?? How to kill them and how they act with Minecraft's physics?? ^_6 Just a few more ideas, I have looooooaaaads of ideas, I just don't have time to type em ALL out ^_6
Trust me, not near as fast as you can in Fortress Miner with their gun, that's the fastest most rapid block destroyer and placer that I've ever seen, far faster than instantmining and placing blocks (without MCEdit I mean :P)
*UGH*, Look bra, instead of asking why it's so useful and what the point in it is, why don't you just download the games ureself and try out the features that you have questions about so you can see first hand what I mean ^_6

Of course Minecraft is better, it'll always be better until Bethesda comes out with their own rolecrafting game
