The new witch mob should drop its nose (which has already been shown to be unstable in the snapshot) at a 0-1 rate that is unaffected by looting and only drops when killed by the player (the classification for a rare drop I think). This item could then be used to brew the extended+level 2 potions which are currently unavailable.
level III potions do sound useful but I don't think which nose sound would fit the job. its too weird. but a drop from the witch for level III would be great
To implement level 3 potions, one would also need to implement potions that last EVEN LONGER.
If level 3 potions were to be implemented, it would be easier to simply use more glowstone, unless there was a different drop to make potions that lasted longer than ones brewed with redstone. But doing the latter would only confuse the brewing system.
If anything, maybe the witches could drop those level 2 extended time potions currently only available in creative mode.
Glowstone Dust brings to level 2,
and Witch Noses bring to level 3?
