So I noticed something peculiar lately which made me a bit curious. Netherrack as we know can be lit from atop, and will stay lit. but lighting it from the side will do nothing but grind your flint and steel up. I found this odd, did a bit of testing, and it seems with any blocks (besides ones that burn away) can only be lit from the top. however, flammable blocks (wood, planks, leaves, fences) DO ignite when lit from the side. does anybody find this a bit strange? I don't think fixing this would be too hard in terms of code, but I think it would bring forth a lot, if only for sideways netherrack fires. Anyone support the idea? Comments? suggestions? any input would be welcome (Aside from trolling or such.)
