Hello, I have a few block ideas I feel need to be added for 1.4.

Wooden Fences and Walls need to have the other types of Wood just like the stairs and slabs do now.

Making Stairs, Slabs, Walls and/or Fences out of these materials as well. Bricks, Obsidian, Iron, Diamond, Gold, Emerald, Lapis Lazuli, Smooth, Normal and Chiseled Sandstone, Smooth, Cracked, Mossy and Chiseled Stone and Stone Bricks, Nether Brick, Netherrack, End Stone, Clay (Only Slabs and Stairs for this), Gravel (Only Slabs and Stairs for this) and Sand (Only Slabs and Stairs for this).

Now I do realize some blocks of some of these materials already exist, however some types of blocks for that material do not.

Also there are only a few materials that making a fence out of would make sense.Here are the ones I feel do:Obsidian, Iron, Diamond, Gold, Emerald, End Stone. Also for the Metal fences, I think they should be a "cross" between the Iron bars and the Fence. Maybe have them have the Fence post on the ends and have bars that run horizontal between the posts.

Thank you. I had not known about the liimt. I would say then to conserve space to only do the metal types and make sure the wood has all types for each wodden block.

Obsidian stairs? You don't say...
