Just wondering if anyone else here likes the idea of 3:1 scaled up temples that would spawn in place of the normal temples (or maybe even just a new rare structure generation) in Large Biome worlds. It SEEMS feasible considering the size of villages and strongholds, but I don't know much Java or MC's inner workings so I can't say for sure. The new temples are great and all but a simple change in scale makes everything look so much more awesome. Considering there's the option for large biomes, why not have fittingly large structures to go in them too?
And here's the imgur gallery I made of a 5:1 scaled up Desert Temple to showcase impressiveness of the structure at a larger scale: http://imgur.com/a/hPVvV
Mineshafts and Strongholdmare big enough as they are. No support.
Mineshafts arn't big, and strongholds are usually wrecked like **** from caves.
This would be funny.
Diamond!

I hate people who complain. I hate spiders. I hate people who own an Xbox One. I hate people who like sandbox games. I hate people who like first person shooters. I hate people who like explosions. If I could clarify a bit, I mean the temples that spawn above ground more specifically. Strongholds and mineshafts don't really need that kind of change purely because they're underground. Here's my logic:
The large biome worlds are a scale change by (if I understood the MC wiki) 4:1. The aim of them, if I assume correctly, is to make biomes a more earth-like size in feel as far as how much time it takes to travel through them and how the player may need to travel great distance to find a new biome to live in.
My idea, with temples specifically, is to have a 3:1 or even just 2:1 scaled up version to plop down in the same places proportionally that they would appear in the normal biomes. So they're 4x the distance apart as they would be in normal world generation, but they're much more earth-like in size and interest. This, in my mind, keeps with the idea behind the Large Biome. Earth-likeness. Those neat, memorable temples of the ancient sort we see in textbooks and real-world explorer's photos are generally a little bigger than 21 by 21m, y'know?
Having all these little temples placed all over the huge deserts and jungles just, for some reason, doesn't fit in my mind as far as the grander nature and effect the Large Biome itself gives the player. I just didn't quite imagine the temples being so small before I saw them, but they're a fantastic addition to the game nonetheless.
Just two more cents to throw in, thanks for the consideration.
