Yesterday i was reading the minecraft wiki and saw that zombies and skeletons were being updated (again)
so i thought to my self "why dosent mojang update the spiders? zombies and skeletons are getting over powered!" so i took the time to write down some ideas i would like to see on spiders
1. spiders attack silverfish ( because spiders eat insects in real life )
2. spiders dont climb walls with their face ( its annoying )
3. add a new structure called "spider nests" spider nests would me somewhat complex network systems lined with cobwebs and at the center would be a large room with some treasure, spider spawners both cave and normal and a spider queen boss [witch would be a giant spider with a gold crown or something] when killed the spider queen would drop a web septer ( only1 spider nest in each world )
4. web septer the web septer should do 1 of the 3
(1) place cobwebs were you click must have 1 string in your inventory ( septer is unbreakable )
(2) summons 2 spider pets to help you spiders have as much health as the ender dragon and heal in cobwebs ( septer breaks instantly )
(3) all spiders within a 32 block radius become nutreal to you when holding the septer and attack anything that attacks you
1.) Makes sense. I support.
2.) I agree, but I doubt the effort will be made to make them rotate while climbing.
3.) The cave spiders already have these "nests" in abandoned mineshafts.
4.) A "web septer"? I can't say I'm really on board with that.
4a.) I wouldn't mind a way to place cobwebs, just not by a septer.
4b.) Ooooverpowered. It doesn't matter if the septer breaks, 2 tamed spiders with 200 health each is absolute overkill. Toss some instant health, regeneration or strength splash potions on them and they're even more overkill.
4c.) No.

Wait, I see I made a mistake there. I said the Iron Golem's health is 200 when it's 100. Still though, even with 100 it's still very overpowered. At least for a spider.

yeah true but you could only 1 or 2 because there would be only 1 spider queen (like the ender dragon) and the web septer would be the only way to spawn them
Earlyier today i saw that there are going to be new skeletons in the nether called wither skeletons then i thought "you know what would be cool... if there were nether spiders so the nether skeletons can ride on the spiders (like spider jockys) what do you think?

Actually, 4c is the most agreeable thing on here, I think...lol

Yes, but silverfish are so rare, because they only spawn in strongholds. I approve.

The idea of spider nests is somewhat good or bad. but more of just a heap of cobwebs underground with a spider and cavespider spawner. it has 1/2 chests, and replaces the spider dungeon. and the spider queen has been suggested so many times.

well, it would be an idea for making some sort of decoration.

You could then go through any spiders you see, including the cave spiders.
