I think Mojang should allow rotation of more blocks. (fences, nether brick fences, fence gates, iron bars, glass panes, grass, mycelium, half slabs on the side of blocks, and possibly the upcoming wall blocks mossy and normal) Also they could add a new rotation system that makes it easier to rotate blocks.
NOTE: I know other people have ideas/suggestions like this but I wanted to make this so everyone who likes the idea can show thair support in one topic so Mojang sees it and it gets added.
While it would be kind of neat to rotate SOME blocks (really, grass?), it'd probably be rather annoying to make a bunch of different orientations for blocks like fences which connect themselves to other blocks... It just seems like a nightmare.

Are you always so pessimistic?
Yes, yes I am. A pessimist is always either right, or pleasantly surprised.

Egads..this is World of Warcraft meets Battlefield 1942 in a dark alley with way too much to drink and no discarded mattress nearby.

The thing is it would be completely un-noticable, so it would be pointless. And I personally think rotation of blocks is SOOO ANNOYING!!
Imagine horizontal iron bars. Yeah. That's not unnoticeable. I think there should definitely be a new system for block rotation. In real life (oh, how I hate that term), when you put something down, you can flip it over. In Minecraft, you have to break it and realign yourself so that you can place something (logs, for instance) a different way. So I propose that certain keys be assigned to block rotation. I'm not sure how, exactly, but a simple solution would be a button that would simply flip a block you were facing. I think that sounds pretty simple and useful for players. Perhaps the C key? That seems like a pretty good placement for such a key.

Like to know what you think,
It is not unnoticable, and that is why they should make a new system...
I think upside down grass would be cool.
