I really think that mirrors in Minecraft could be possible. With the new option to dye leather armor, mirrors could be very useful. It would also be kind of cool to see a recursion effect in Minecraft. For the definition of recursion see "recursion". This is the discussion forum so go ahead and discuss. Here is my proposed idea for a crafting recipe.
That aside, what purpose would a mirror serve? Why should they be added? You're not giving us any reasons to implement this. You say they would be useful, but how so?
Well, another use could be in defense. Mirrors allow you to look around corners, and with enough mirrors, you could look around entire houses. Using multiple mirrors would decrease the quality I am sure, but I think it would still work. Maybe mobs could recognize themselves and think it is another mob therefore providing you with a decoy.
not to be rude, but why add mirrors when we have F5? F5 can do all of the things mirrors can. please give a good reason to add a super lag machine to minecraft
Mirrors would lead to a lot of lag if they wound up reflecting one another infinitely. I'm not sure if the current game engine could even handle them at the moment.
For the definition of redundancy see redundancy.
