Hey forums! I recently had an idea for a small change to Minecraft.
I'm proposing that when you walk on a grass block enough, it eventually changes into a 'dirt pathway' block. These pathways would be oriented in the direction you walked in, and can connect to other dirt path blocks. The connections would be the same as redstone.
This would make navigation around open areas easier, because if you travel along a certain route enough, eventually it will become visible.
It's a small idea, but let me know what you think!
A) pathways will only show if it is connected to another pathway block
B Using the same trail untill it became a path would allow easier navigation between distant areas
C) pathways will dissapear, but only after a long time of disuse, say 2 MC weeks?
Also, pathways can become larger depending on usage. ex: 20x walking on a grass block will make a thin trail, 100x a slightly larger trail, 300x will make the trail shown above, and 500x will make a 2 block wide pathway.
