to be honest I LOVE IT but... its to complicated it needs to have different controls
how i would like to see them (PLEASE READ THIS VERSION OF THE CONTROLS WOULD MAKE IT FAR LESS COMPLICATED AND THAT GIVES IT A BETTER CHANCE)
space would be everything jumping shift would be crouching and others and control would be everything that puts you in a laying position
first off there would be a better sneak animation. and ctrl would be the "prone" position
if your running and you press shift for sneak you roll three blocks (start on first block go under second and end on third) and if your bad at that while in sneak you double tap forward for a roll while your stationary
to vault you simply press space on (or hold in mid air. to erase timing problems) a block this will only get you over two block high walls (jump over the first one and use your hands on the second) you can roll OVER one block high if you press space against a block but while your not in the air (fast and slow vaulting will apply). please note that fences and one-and-a-half sized block will work the same way as two-high blocks
when falling ctrl would put you in a diving position and shift put would put you in a confident position (if you purposely jump off a very high place, you don't look retarded falling) and if you hit the ground with shift on you would roll (to again eliminate time problems and if your falling by surprise and you really do freak out you would forget to press shift but if your billy bad-@$$ you wouldn't freak out and you'd be able to press shift)
as for skydiving a (I'm guessing) well liked feature but you cant build high enough to were it would be useful and it would only last a few seconds unless it slows you down to a unrealistic speed
mob riding is something i would save for a different suggestion

climbing would be shift as well so if you purposely jump off a cliff to a ledge you are confident when doing so. it would work best as shift because the "confident" animation would be a more humble animation.

I'm not a fan of any but one of these Ideas. They seem out of plce to me, and with the swimming, I have a feeling that it is like it is so people would rather use boats than swim everywhere. The only Idea I like is dual wielding. Battles would take much longer than needed with this, as youd hit a mob, they go flying back, and have to get back up (Also, how would creepers get back up?) , and maybe they get a hit in on you, and all the while you're doing your fancy attacks. Attacking is fine as it is.

Swimming wouldn't be much faster, really. And if you read it it would slowly deplete your stamina so you'd have to top every once in a while, which is why boats would be much better, especially if Boats Evolved is added =) Also most of these animations would be fast, like you'd get up really fast, and whoever said you can't pummel anyone on the ground? The "fancy attacks" are just animations, not key combos or anything. They just look better.

IKR???? Vaulting is cool, but not limited to fences, as you probably know. =) Well.... you get fall damage when they fall... I waould assume you get a little bashed up as they move, maybe half a heart here and there... and of course you'd get shot in the back by nearby Skeletons, Wither Skeletons, Blazes, and Ghasts.

I've looked at your idea and revised mine, yours had some nice stuff! =)
I use the Shift key for laying positions because many players' fingers are hard-wired for shift to sneak. I don't see the point in the confident position, though, besides using a key to look cool. Also you can fall about 54 blocks in 2 seconds normally. So from world height to bedrock, that's like 9 seconds normally, and skydiving would probably make it 10 to 13 seconds. count off 13 seconds and you'll see that's pretty long. Also if you noticed I got rid of the sneak position, it's useless when you have Crawling.
Revised:
Double-tap+anything is sprint and makes it go faster.
Space on ground: Jump
Space on ground, hold and release: Charged Jump
Space in air: Dive
Space in air, right after Jump next to 2 high wall: Lazy Vault
Space in air, sprinting right after Jump next to 2 high wall: Speed Vault
Space in water: Swim
Space on ground+Shift: Crawl Jump
Shift on ground: Crawl
Shift in air: Skydive
Shift in air near ledge: Ledge Grab
Shift in air under grab-able block: Ceiling Climb
Shift on ladder/wall: Hold position
Shift on mob: Mob Ride
F/Crtl: Roll (Note I think the "F"key is better than Crtl because I use my pinky finger for shift, making it hard to do Shift+Crtl.)(Note that you can roll from almost any position, like crawl-roll, air-roll, jump-roll, etc.)

The only things that could be added and Not break the pvp or other gameplay are:

2Attacking
3Swiming
4Throwing
5Falling
6Diving
7Flying
and the last one (Dose have gameplay changes in a good way)

Unless they really had lame forts... Forts and castles generally have walls higher than 4 blocks. Minecrafters solve problems with their creativity! We aren't a stupid people! We are intelligent, and that's why minecraft is fun! The awesomeness outweighs the oldness of builds. =) New builds will just be awesomer than EVAR!

LOL, yes, good point, I did.... Well, I guess mobs would be "lazy" and not climb over unless they're stalking the player(s). Unlike spiders, they couldn't just wander into a fence and climb over. As fences are generally used around farms, and usually you don't farm at night(well at least I don't), fences should still serve their purpose. Anytime would be good to add this for me =P Oh, I wanted to let you know that the "Don't Fear the Reaper" Is on two separate lines in your sig, if you didn't know that, so at first glance it looks like "Fear the Reaper" =P

Also you can fall about 54 blocks in 2 seconds normally. So from world height to bedrock, that's like 9 seconds normally, and skydiving would probably make it 10 to 13 seconds. count off 13 seconds and you'll see that's pretty long. Also if you noticed I got rid of the sneak position, it's useless when you have Crawling.

Double-tap+anything is sprint and makes it go faster.
Space on ground: Jump
Space on ground, hold and release: Charged Jump
Space in air: Dive
Space in air, right after Jump next to 2 high wall: Lazy Vault
Space in air, sprinting right after Jump next to 2 high wall: Speed Vault
Space in water: Swim
Space on ground+Shift: Crawl Jump
Shift on ground: Crawl
Shift in air: Skydive
Shift in air near ledge: Ledge Grab
Shift in air under grab-able block: Ceiling Climb
Shift on ladder/wall: Hold position
Shift on mob: Mob Ride
F/Crtl: Roll (Note I think the "F"key is better than Crtl because I use my pinky finger for shift, making it hard to do Shift+Crtl.)(Note that you can roll from almost any position, like crawl-roll, air-roll, jump-roll, etc.)

Nice suggestion you have here. But,
The only things that could be added and Not break the pvp or other gameplay are:
1Knockback
2Attacking
3Swiming
4Throwing
5Falling
6Diving
7Flying
and the last one (Dose have gameplay changes in a good way)
8CRAWLING.
Aside from those eight the other ones would not do too well. Vaulting? Fences are meant to keep people out, otherwise they would have had a smaller hitbox in the first place. I dislike any of them that will make you go up TWO blocks, it breaks: Dungeons, Puzzles, Castles, Forts, and other structures meant to keep people out.
as for Duel wielding and Mob riding, Totally OP.
and kicking would be... well i just don't like it.

LOL, yes, good point, I did.... Well, I guess mobs would be "lazy" and not climb over unless they're stalking the player(s). Unlike spiders, they couldn't just wander into a fence and climb over. As fences are generally used around farms, and usually you don't farm at night(well at least I don't), fences should still serve their purpose. Anytime would be good to add this for me =P Oh, I wanted to let you know that the "Don't Fear the Reaper" Is on two separate lines in your sig, if you didn't know that, so at first glance it looks like "Fear the Reaper" =P
