Is it cool if I can post some of these in my thread? I actually have a topic about the exact same topic as you are! Don't worry. I'll remember to credit you. PS Nice ideas
Sword: Ice Aspect- Freezes the mob you attack for a second or two. Not really unique.
Bow: Frost- Same affect as Ice Aspect. Ditto.
Boots: Gravity- Halves gravity; you can jump twice as high and it halves fall damage. Obsoletes featherfall and is a bit OP.
Leggings: Speed- Doubles walk speed. Speed potions are better and less OP.
Chestplate: Rubber- When sprinting, mobs you collide with will be sent flying. Unique, not sure how OP this would be but I like this regardless.
All armor: Hardness- weapons will sometimes bounce off armor. Protection.
Helmet: Xray- You can see through a few layers of blocks when toggled. How would you toggle it? This would also require the game to render past what it usually does.
Axe: Knockdown- When cutting down trees, all logs above the one you cut will drop. Yaaaaay.
Hoe: Self-watering- You don't need to water the soil when it is tilled with this. Eh.
Shovel: Gentleness- Sand/gravel won't fall when it is dug with this. Eh.
Pickaxe: Softstone- Digging stone will go much faster. Efficiency?
Anyone like any of these ideas?
Some are redundant, some are OP, a few are good. Comments in bold.

Did something happen to you in your childhood to give you this unreasonable fear of rutabaga?

Leggings: Speed- Doubles walk speed. Speed potions are better and less OP. Yeah, I guess so.
Chestplate: Rubber- When sprinting, mobs you collide with will be sent flying. Unique, not sure how OP this would be but I like this regardless. Yes, I would think that would be a fun enchantment.
All armor: Hardness- weapons will sometimes bounce off armor. Protection. Not exactly.
Helmet: Xray- You can see through a few layers of blocks when toggled. How would you toggle it? This would also require the game to render past what it usually does. Yes, it would use more RAM, but it would be very useful. And you would toggle it with X or something.
Axe: Knockdown- When cutting down trees, all logs above the one you cut will drop. Yaaaaay. Are you saying that's good or not?
Hoe: Self-watering- You don't need to water the soil when it is tilled with this. Eh. Okay, this one would be kinda lame.
Shovel: Gentleness- Sand/gravel won't fall when it is dug with this. Eh. I would love to have this one, I hate being crushed by gravel/sand.
Pickaxe: Softstone- Digging stone will go much faster. Efficiency? Yeah, I forgot about that. How about Heat Aspect- Makes iron/gold drop ingots instead of ore.
