Ok, as you have read, I think it's time for a new batch of mobs. I do know they should not come out all at once, but I think it would be kinda cool if it did. Now you will think "Oh I've seen this guys posts before, this is to OP!".
Well, I will try my best to make it NOT OP! Some of these may be from a mod that I don't know about or a topic that I don't know about. Some of this may be about what should be added to current mobs in the game. Some of these may include a new block or item, but this is all based around a mob. So, continue to read.
Monkeys!: This mob is just a regular monkey, he lives in jungle biomes (I mean where else?) and is found in and around big trees only. They will drop a banana, a banana peel (The peel is gotten after eaten if not obtained from the monkey), or leather. The banana heals 1.5 hunger points and can be found in jungles sometimes. The banana peel can be given to monkeys and they will start to follow you and once oyu give them another banana, they will start to kill hostile mobs for you. He has 4.5 hearts of health. He is a passive friend, but will only attack hostiles.
Zeonic: You are probably thinking "What in the hell..." but I just came up with a name for it since I have no idea what it should be called. Anyways, this mob is a plant mob and can be found in jungles, forests, and has a desert form. This creature is a horrible and disgusting plant monster, and it's main plan of attack is to bury under ground and attack from below. The mob can be noticed by seeing the floor popping up and root particle effects. He will also only be able to dig up dirt, clay, sand, and smooth stone. His attack power to you is 1 heart of damage from his other attack, jumping at you, and will deal 2 hearts from going underground. He has 6 hearts of health. This mob will also drop "Root Herbs", which are used in brewing. However this potion will not have a name or anything yet, since I will probably think of something OP. So you guys come up with it! FYI: The desert form has cacti for it's "tentacles" (No curves, well maybe as long as there are different joints, but NO CIRCLE LIKE THINGS!) , the jungle has vines, and the forest have thorned stems, thick flower stems. He is hostile too.
Camo-man: Yes I know he could have a better name, so you guys think of it, I'd like some opinions :D!
Well, this guys explains himself, he is 25 % visible and will have a blurry kind of effect on the surroundings which he stands in. Once he sees you, he will go after you and attack, you know, because that's what a guy with awsome powers does- go evil. So he has a constant potion effect of nothing, just to help you see him more, but one potion effect, not having particles, but will be a default for him is the speed I effect. That's right. He is quick. He has a spawnn rate that is suprisingly LESS than an enderman, 9 hearts of health and 3.5 hearts of health gone per strike. He will drop camo cloth, which can make camo armor. The suit will lower the distance of mob's view on you, and also lower your visibility, so it will help in SMP.
Wraith: Ok this is the one mob that I know is from a mod, but I want you guys to not look at it from Mo' Creatures POV, and from MY POV. I just want to have nothing to do with "You stole the wraith idea from Mo' Creatures". Anyways, this creature is quick, and a way to see it the best is to look for neon red eyes. The closer he gets, the more his chain (RECANTGLE LINKS!) and cloak appears. His main attack is to hurt oyu like normal, but his other is the throw the chain at you. his will deal 1 heart of damage and give you slowness for 5 seconds. However he will have to get his chain again before fighting. His main attack will do 3 hearts of damage to you. His spawn rate is like an enderman.
Spider Hordes: This is kinda self explanitory, but you are thinking- "So you expect us to be chased by a horde of giant spiders?". Well, it is the exact opposite. Tiny spiders, not big ones. These guys travel in packs/hordes, and they will deal poison to you when attacked. They will fall as a cluster each sword or hand strike, and like cake but will move, can walk on walls and will try to kill you. They have 5 "Hearts" of health, but I suggest NOT to use your sword, just your hand. Left click them with your hand and 1 "Heart" will be down. I know fists only do .5 hearts of damage, but as I said, these guys are like cake, eat it (Kill it) and it will take away 1/5. They also will give you a chance of poison not on their attack, but on yours if you hurt them with your fists. They are hostile. They also
Rhino: This guy will have a horn, is neutral and will charge at you like a bull when they are hurt by you. They will crash into walls and leave dents in the walls. They have 10 hearts of health, and deal 4.5 hearts of damage each charge. They will drop leather, and rhino horns. The horn can be used to make a rhino sword, which is an iron sword but with 2 rhino horns on each side, but has to be beside the iron. The sword lasts as long as iron, but does slightly more damage. They spawn as much as endermen and it does not matter what time of day it is. I suggest to back off from these creatures too.
Melee skeletons: These skeletons carry swords or anything that will do more damage than 1/2 a heart and is a tool. They will spawn as much as a skeleton archer, will only carry up to stone tools and have 5 hearts of health and deals the ammount of damage that the regular tool would.
It would be a nice thought.: My nice thought is that sheep could drop sheep meat. I really don't care if these ideas above are not noticed, but this one should. I always starved to death when no cows or pigs or chikcens were in sight and there was just a sheep. How I wish sheep would drop meat, because they actually do drop pretty tasty meat i real life. So this is all I ask out of the game for now.
I hope you support, and you can also tell me if something does not make sense at all or if you think the Zeonic sounds like that boss from Legend of Zelda or something, but I just hope it does not contain the word "Really?" like that. I kinda don't like that because that is just putting ideas that can be modified to waste. Just suggest something that should be changed or something that can be added, and if I think it is not to op (Everyone will yell at me XD) I will probably put it in and post your name in parenthisies. Plus if I made any spelling or grammer mistakes, just ignore it because I type kinda fast and my fingers tend to slip. Well, hope you like these ideas!

Minor dupstep... Doomsday. DUBWUBWUBWUB, WUBDUBDUBDUB, DUMDUMUMDUM, WUBWUBWUBWUB!
Monkeys were mentioned. Personally I think they're cliche mobs with no real use other than making the player think "MONKEY". They have no point beyond that.
Despite the unique aspects of the mob, there are many, much better ideas for different mobs doing similar or the same things. This one...not so good.
This appears to be an entire mob to create a permanent invisibility potion. This is unneeded.
Whither boss, that is all I really have to say. A much more unique name, design, and mob in general, despite it not even been released or fully looked at by players as of yet.
These seem like different models for silverfish. Silverfish already attack in swarms, and aren't annoying you every night you go out, as they're in Strongholds.
This really seems like a cliche mob used to make an entire new, pointless sword tier.
Skeletons can now spawn with swords. I encountered one today.
We have 18 different foods (23 in the latest snapshots). There is no need for more pointless food, especially meat. Honestly, I didn't really want potatoes or carrots, I wanted a berry, but that's just me.

[quote=Catelite]Just because you don't understand how something works, doesn't make it broken or pointless. >_<
Things should be all right as long as we don't have to worry about firebrats occasionally hiding within random blocks of nether fortresses. That could make tunneling through them or robbing them of netherbrick more interesting.
Yea but if these get added then what? You get bored with that batch. Then you want more, those get added, and again you get bored with them. Soon enough, our world is littered with dangerous and useless mobs. I say we have enough coming our way as is. Sorry bud, No support.
A swarm of tiny spiders? You know what I hate more then one spider? A THOUSAND SPIDERS! Why do you want Minecraft to be the things of nightmares? The giant spiders are at least comical and easy to smack without them getting you. They also lack the typical spider legs that look like claws and make my spine tingle. However, if you had to deal with a swarm of little black things (who you can't make out if they're cute or not) it's not difficult to imagine some of them crawling up your legs, digging into your flesh and laying a million little eggs. Honestly it's not that spiders are big dangerous creatures it's that they're stealthy and quick and when you least expect it, there's one sitting on your shoulder, watching you type out a comment.
No but seriously, the Zeonic mob would actually be quite badass. I think the same for the Rhino, because it would never get old side-stepping their charges and watching them run into a wall. The wraith could be an interesting one too if implemented properly. The melee skeletons are alright, and I think the newest snapshot allows them to do this. The Spider Hordes is kinda taken already by the Cave Spiders.
The monkeys and camo-man are a little cliche though. Though it'd be very worth killing them depending on how good their drops are.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.

It's not that big, all you gotta do is attack it 5 times to kill it with any tool. Just kinda a little swarm that spawns in dungeons and strongholds, not much of them ^^! I do hate spiders too

I like the zeonic too. I got the idea from the LoZ boss in Skyward Sword, the one desert temple one. The drops WILL me good for the wraith, as it is kinda hard. I was thinking changing the health for the rhino, but I forgot to add he takes damage every charge. Maybe the monkey can do something else too, but I really like monkeys so I just had to put that in :P.
this deserves more praise! even though some of the ideas weren't so good, like the zeonic, i see that you have put a lot of work into this. i love the idea of sheep dropping meat. i had an idea of wolves and ocelots dropping meat. does that sound like a good idea?
YES! I am getting tired of starving to death in the hunger games XD!
Yea but if these get added then what? You get bored with that batch. Then you want more, those get added, and again you get bored with them. Soon enough, our world is littered with dangerous and useless mobs. I say we have enough coming our way as is. Sorry bud, No support.
Then 'enough coming our way' can be this, not all in one update! I think that would be insane, but as I've said before, a mob update will get pretty cool. Plus you forgot that I am starting to get bored with theis "batch" and it would be cool for a new mob to come around, like the Wither.
Don't forget water mobs! Hopefully they add hostile water mobs, and maybe controllable mob mounts.
I've always wanted pigs to be controlled... as I do have an assasin pig skin XD. Well, I didn't want to add water mobs because Mo' Creatures and all that... but if oyu are REALLY looking for water mobs, I suggest looking on my new realm suggestion, I put a plant realm and water realm up there. That was where the Zeonic came from, but the one in my topic is called the "Crawler" or something like that.

Ok, the camo-man is not creating a permanent invisibility potion. He is creating a suit that makes you 20% transparent. The mob is not many tiny spiders that will find a group, it is the group. How is the rhino cliche when it has a use and will also drop another item? It's not only about the sword, you know. Is it the new snapshot for these melee skeles? Because when I remembered in the snapshot they only spawned with bows that are enchanted or regular bows, not sword, you need an MC edit filter for that. Plus they are based ONLY on the swords, no bows for these guys.
