Death in minecraft is a boring experience and is just plain annoying at times. You go into first person, your screen turns red, and this pops up...

And killing isn't mutch better, they just flop on the floor and poof up into clouds of smoke like there matter was destroyed from this earth. So...what if Jeb adds ragdoll physics...hmmm...Think about it, your fighting on top of a bridge, HIYA ()xxx[}----------------- Stab stab, slash slash, and when your enemy dies, he goes limp, falls off the bridge into a pit of lava that was below the bridge you were fighting on, or gets rushed away by a current of water from the river below, and you, standing on the bridge alone, sword in hand, are victorious. Woulden't that be just awesome? hell, death will be better too, your copse goes limp and you are just lying there with all your stuff scattered around your lifeless corpse until, like a pheonix, rise again, take back your supplies, and join the fight once more, woulden't that be awesomer?!
Ragdoll would just be awesome, and I know that some of you are like "WTF U N00B!? DIS WUD CAS LAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG"...well, no it woulden't, the enemys would still dissapear into a puff of smoke like normal, but they would just go limp first. Of corse, I could be wrong, so, there would be an option to turn ragdoll physics off.
This is just a simple idea I had that would improve minecraft in some ways. In adventure maps dead bodies can be used to trigger pressure plates. In single player it could be fun to set some TNT traps and make mobs walk over them, killing them, and launching them off in to the distance. In multiplayer it could make some epic battles happen. Just an idea, if you like it, click that ^ button and tell me why you like it, if you hate it, tell me why in the comments. Thanks for reading.

Actually, yes it could. A lot of people (even with very good PC's) experience lag from simple things in the game, like a shitload of chunk and light updates they can't see. Minecraft is not a fully optimized game, so imagine adding some accurate ragdoll physics to all of that. A lot of things in the game are very quirky, so imagine how much coding and optimization is needed just to add simple ragdolls without them being glitchy.
It doesn't matter if enemies disappear eventually, the CPU still has to handle every little update for the ragdoll physics every small fraction of a second. Imagine the lag that could be caused by blowing up a ton of mobs with TNT.

When people throw in the "well, you have the option to turn this off" part, that usually means the person making the suggestion is not fully confident in his/her idea. I'm not saying that that's what you're doing, but other people can get that notion. Also, you don't need to sign your own posts.
...So, if there were ragdolls.... let's add a lot of ennemies to the scene... now let's see how Dark Souls is.... Yep, there would be a lot of bodies encumbering us, if it were to be added to Minecraft... And there would be "loose walls", were stuff and corpses would just go through.... and be lost.
Lag? What about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? It has TONS of ragdolls and noone complains. What about that?
Mobs disappear in about 1 sec to about 1.5 secs. It woudn't cause too much lag if they stayed for about 3 secs to 3.5 secs.

I hate people who complain. I hate spiders. I hate people who own an Xbox One. I hate people who like sandbox games. I hate people who like first person shooters. I hate people who like explosions. I hate people who like video games. I hate people who are hateful. I hate people that don't like spam. I hate people who like cake. I hate people who type in proper grammar and spell words properly on the internet. I hate hypocrites.

Bug him to add ragdolls if you really need them for whatever reason.
