I always found it strange that I could not craft green dye with a lapis lazuli and yellow dye. This wasn't much of a problem until one day I decided I wanted some green dye.
After searching for several Minecraft days, I finally found my desert and cacti for my green dye, but I was pushed into a ravine by a sheep while I was returning. I died in lava with my precious little cacti.
Later I found that my world size had doubled because of my fail journey to a desert.
I think it would be a minor (but extremely helpful) tweak to the game that wouldn't mess anything up.
Thoughts?
I support, but the result shouldn't be called cactus green. Just "Green Dye". Brown dye (not cocoa beans, a separate item) should also be craftable, by mixing red, yellow, and blue dyes.

If anyone wants to port/remake this, feel free to do that! Or don't. It's up to you, really.

I completely agree with this, which is one of the reasons why I didn't call it "cactus green" when I was posting this.
Lazuli generates in all biomes, and can be mined with a stone pickaxe. Cacti generate in deserts, and if you don't spawn near one it'll take forever to find it.

Logically, this does make sense, but I'm not sure if it would be good idea to take away one of the few uses that cacti have. I guess finding lapis and using it with yellow dye wouldn't be as easy to do as simply harvesting cacti from a desert, but I guess that depends on whether or not you're more a miner or explorer or what's nearby when you spawn. I'm undecided on this.

Question: If I have 10 ice cubes and you have 11 apples, how many pancakes will fit on the roof?
Answer: Purple, because aliens don't wear hats.

It happens all the time
