The first upgrade is 'SPIRIT TNT.' it is formed in the same way as normal tnt except with soul sand instead of normal sand. IT IS NOT MORE POWERFUL THAN NORMAL TNT, at least not in explosion size or dammage done. If it kills (not just hurts but actually KILLS) any mob, it will drop twice the normal number of xp orbs and will have a 75% chance of dropping 2x it's normal item drop.
The second upgrade for tnt and is called light bomb. It is crafted the same way as tnt but with the 4 gunpowder on the corners replaced with glowstone. The explosion size of this tnt is much smaller than normal tnt (only hurts blocks directly touching it) but it will leave behind a block of level 15 light that will slowly fade away. Its main purpose is to light up dark areas like caves just long enough for you to find coal to make torches or to be used with a normal TNT when tnt mining so if you open up a small cave monsters will not suddenly spawn into your mining area and kill you before you can place torches.
The last upgrade is EMP TNT and is crafted like tnt with just the middle gunpowder replaced by redstone. It dosen't do any damage, unless you happen to be a redstone circuit. Any redstone wire (or torch or anything else used for power transmition) in a 25 block radius will intantly shutdown for 1 min. before turning back on.
P.S. could be used for an emergency override switch for a redstone creation.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, PLEASE COMMENT.
I don't mean to be harsh but there is no real use for number 1 and 2 in minecraft.
But the emp TNT caught my eye because that would be useful for some red stone contraptions, for example using it as a timer: you press a pressure plate when entering a maze and the doors lock behind you with pistons and the tnt goes off and the player has 1 minute to escape the maze before the redstone current turns back on and sets off dispensers with arrows or the floor opens up and you fall in lava.

So you have my support.
You can do this with Repeaters and pistons and torches.
Might want to break up that wall of text buddy, they tend to scare people.
Thanks for the tip. By the way jellomob, I have posted in the 'all dem dimensions' thread and thought you might add a use for the enderdragon egg, maybe part of a portal that can take you to any one of the dimensions you type when you enter it. It could be very useful, plus you would only ever need one portal, so it would save space.

2) Why not just put up a torch or glowstone?
3) Mind giving any practical uses?
