The other week I had the inclination to start up Minecraft again after a long pause in playing. Anyways, I had to update to the newest version. All of a sudden the camera was changed. When I moved my mouse in any direction it would keep on moving according to the speed I was moving and would slow down to a stop long after I stopped moving my mouse.
At first I thought the game was broken, but it was easily countered by moving the mouse in the oppisite direction slowing the cursor down to a stop. It took awhile to get used to, but in the end, the minecraft world looked 3D without having it in 3D.
I believe in using the mouse in FPS and first person view games in such a way as to control the camera so it is always in motion. Even ever so slightly to give a 3 dimentional feel at all times. It looks much better, and its much more fun to play with that in regard.
I played Minecraft for hours with that on, and it was the most thrilling experience... Accuracy was perfect and with little mouse movement, I had full control of everything and the world looked far more immersive because of it. I loved the new update.
Then I restarted the game, and it was gone. It was back to normal.... And all of a sudden, normal sucked.
I loved the glitch that I found only once, but man, it was phenomenal. Perfect accuracy using this glitch. It took a bit to get used to, yea... but once you did, the world had it own type of life. At least the camera did.
I believe I stumbled onto something that would significantly improve the game itself. Have a check to whether you would like this option on with sliders to adjust speed, decay and other options to fully customize the camera motion and reaction. It would breathe new life into Minecraft itself.

Its funny that F8 actually does this. Now I don't play without it. Never knew about it even though I've probably played at least a hundred hours or so.
