We all know what im talking about. Those 3 biggest issues with villagers.
1. Defense.
Before people start screaming (WE HAVE IRON GOLEMS!) I will say that I have never found a village large enough to have an iron golem. So small villages are undefended. To be able to prevent this I think some villagers should be able to become "militia" and stand guard at night. If you feel inclined towards your villagers you can give them tools and armor to fight off the hordes.
2.Quests
With the villagers now trading. people want them to offer quests, however many people think quests will ruin the mood of minecraft. I feel that if done right quests could fit just fine with minecraft. Some examples would be:
Village children offering "play with us" quests like tag, (right click as many of the playing children as possible.) hide and seek,(hide from the children without leaving the village until found then you seek.) or Race. As well as adults offering "help with the chores" quests Like harvest,(pick a field and turn in the wheat) craft, (make a small amount of blocks/items for them) and deliver (Give an item to another villager) This way they are less like tasks more like actualy helping the village.
3.Building
People feel that villagers that build could be used to farm materials, but now villagers can trade What if they had to buy the blocks? Im suggesting a new villager class that would trade for planks, cobble, logs, and gravel.
Once they have the materials they need they will begin making buildings.
Hope you like my solutions to these 3 common villager arguements feel free to post reasons you dont think these are good ideas. "the path to a better world is paved with criticism!"

I would love to have this in minecraft another thing is that they could have codinated attacks against mobs and you have to help them deffend the village against lots off hostile mobs
